It aggressively penetrates and softens the outer surfaces of pipe and fittings prior to application of solvent cement enhancing the ability of the cement to fuse the joining surfaces. Use of Red Hot Purple Primer ensures strong bonds in a variety of jobsite and weather conditions, particularly cold weather. The purple color provides for easy visual inspection during and after application.
