The Weathermatic® SoloRain® 8014SR Battery Valve Actuator Nelson is a battery operated controller for an existing compatible irrigation system (sold separately). This actuator is powered by a 3.6V long life lithium battery, and works with both RainBird® & Hunter® DC latching solenoids for simple controller swap-outs. Once installed per manufacturer's instruction, this component allows the user to set a length of programmable watering time ranging from 1 min to 3 hr 59 min per zone. This unit offers a single zone base capacity; expansion to additional zones requires adapter (sold separately.)
