VASTEC USA’s innovative aluminum coping eliminates costly and difficult steps from the fiberglass pool installation process. This new coping gives the contractor and customer an alternative to the traditional cantilever deck and Styrofoam concrete forms. It can be installed by a small crew in very little time, and requires almost no training. It can bend and flex to fit the shape of any fiberglass pool, and acts as a receptor for the concrete to be poured. After the concrete is poured, there is little or no cleanup required, no removal of any forms, and no holes to fill or rough spots to sand down. It also allows up to one inch of shimming for out of level pools. It looks great by itself or with tile and leaves a clean, modern finish that shows off the curves of today’s fiberglass pools.
