When used as a pre-filter, the MultiCyclone filter's fine particulates such as sand or dust before it gets to the main filter.
This reduces the wear and tear on traditional filter media and increases the amount of time between necessary filter cleanings. The MultiCyclone filter has no filter media to maintain or replace, and can be cleaned with a simple turn of a valve. It can be used as a pre-filter to traditional filtration, or as a stand-alone filter on water feature pumps.
