A throttle body is a type of butterfly valve that is located between your engine's air intake filter and the intake manifold. Throttle bodies controls the amount of air that can go into your engine, based on how the driver pushes the gas pedal. When more air flows into the engine, the throttle body injects more fuel and allows the engine to have more power.
