It eliminates the need to physically visit the controller to start or stop a cycle during maintenance, installation or winterization. If you have ICR receivers already in place, they can be used with the new Roam XL Transmitter and conversely the ROAM XL receiver can be used with the ICR Transmitters. The Roam XL and ICR remotes are not compatible with the regular ROAM series remotes.
