Cement-Lime blends are pre-measured mixtures of cement and hydrated lime manufactured to be used in producing masonry mortars for use in brick, block and stone masonry units. Cement-Lime blends are pre-mixed to meet ASTM C270 cementitious proportion requirements for Type N, Type S or Type M mortars. Type S is used in construction where strong lateral and compressive forces are anticipated. It is most commonly used in commercial construction, stone masonry and exterior stucco.
